True Note offers a convenient solution for verifying the speed accuracy of your record player.

 <li>Download the True Note app and launch it.</li>
 <li>Print and meticulously cut out the provided turntable strobe disc.</li>
 <li>Position the strobe disc on your record player, initiating it at 33 1/3 RPM.</li>
 <li>Initiate the "START" function in the True Note app and project the illuminating LED light from your iOS device onto the strobe disc.</li>
</ul>

When employing True Note, a correct playing speed is indicated by the distinction of individual lines on the strobe disc, remaining stationary without any drifting.

Many record players come with adjustable speed settings that can benefit from calibration through the assistance of True Note.

In scenarios where you are considering purchasing a pre-owned record player, the True Note's compact strobe disc can be conveniently stored in your wallet or iPhone case, allowing for swift verification of the device's functionality at thrift stores or garage sales.
